Warmest August since 2004 in Central England

August 2016 looks like it was the warmest since 2004 with a mean CET of 17.12°C which was +1.38°C above the long-term average (1961-1990):- I make it the 27th warmest August since 1659 judging by its monthly mean temperature:-
